Local services are organised by the Mull and Iona Community to help us all through this difficult time.

These services are performed by volunteers at no cost.

Although our volunteers will take every safety precaution they can please try and avoid all contact apart from the occasional friendly chat from "shouting" distance!

Chatty People
We are looking for chatty people who could be available at the end of a phone to chat.

This is nothing to do with virus advice but chatting to someone, who is perhaps feeling isolated, about the day to day island stuff we all enjoy.

10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 2pm Sunday. Please shop only for essentials once a day. Deliveries for self-isolating people.

Pennyghael Stores. Open 9.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Fruit, veg, bread & milk. Orders can be placed on Friday mornings for collection on Tuesday afternoons or for RoMICTS to deliver on Wednesday.

Ulva Ferry Community Transport Service

  • Collection and delivery of all prescriptions from Salen Dispensing Surgery, including refrigerated storage if required
  • Collection and delivery of groceries from Salen Spar
  • Collection and delivery of groceries from Dervaig Post Office and Stores
  • The wheelchair lift equipped minibus is available for transport for NHS Patient Transport by arrangement with suitable precautions for infection control
