Accessing a covid19 test in Argyll and Bute & island pick-up point

Community testing for Covid-19 takes place at Mobile Testing Units (MTUs) throughout Argyll & Bute. There are currently two Testing Units touring

• Members of the public experiencing Covid-19 symptoms can attend an MTU
• Other people as directed by Test and Protect
• Testing is most effective if done within the first 5 days of symptom onset. Testing units are sited in community locations
• Test appointments should be booked in advance online at:

This link also gives the option to book delivery of a home testing kit but these are in high demand and may not be available. People with no internet or unable to travel should call 0800 028 2816
